PBAS Reseller Initial Configuration & Setup

Upon initial login to a new PBAS Reseller Account you are presented with a LOT of configuration options. We normally handle this while speaking with the Reseller by phone to walk them through what each option does; however all of the settings entered at this step can be changed later within the actual interface - so it is fine to complete this step on your own.
After the initial login and configuration we normally conduct a brief orientation session of about 30 minutes to give the Reseller a high level overview of the interface layout and features. If you wish to conduct such a session, just let us know when you are available to do so.
Feel free to login and complete the initial configuration and poke around in the interface. Each page has an online [Help] link (upper left corner) that will give you full details of all options on that specific page. You can also click [Support] link (bottom left column) / [Documentation] Tab (top) - to be presented with links to PDF documentation that further explains what everything is and how it all works.
Both fortunately and unfortunately... Parallels Business Automation Standard (PBAS) is a full featured system with MANY functions and features - therefore it has a bit of a learning curve and can take a week (or more) to get everything setup and ready to go live. To that end, we need to get the following details from new PBAS Resellers ASAP...
1. By default your PBAS Control Panel URL's and Online Store will be as follows ("DOMAIN.EXT" replaced by your actual domain name)...

Online Store: https://hsp.DOMAIN.EXT/
In these URL's "HSP" stands for "Hosting Service Provider" and ViUX uses "hsp.viux.com". Please let us know if you would like some other sub-domain prefix; however it is required to use a prefix in front of your domain name.
2. Note that the above URL's all use HTTPS - therefore you MUST PURCHASE an SSL Certificate FROM: http://certificates.viux.com. We highly recommend the Comodo EV-SSL Certificate - as an EV (Extended Validation) Certificates gives you the "Green Bar of Trust" in the browser that displays your company details, validation, etc... which thereby builds trust with your customers and potential customers.
However the validation process for an EV-SSL is longer and more complex. You must provide certain business documentation, proof of business name, domain name, address, phone, etc... and it can take weeks to get the certificate approved and issued. Otherwise, you may select any desired SSL Certificate from: https://certificates.viux.com - and purchase it for the hostname from #1 (above) for "Apache ModSSL" as the [Server Type] on the order form.
If you are going to have your own private servers registered in PBAS as Plesk Nodes, then you will also need an SSL Certificate for the hostname of each server. In this case we recommend a Wildcard SSL Certificate (*.DOMAIN.EXT).
3. You will have your own DNS Name Servers of: ns1.DOMAIN.EXT & ns2.DOMAIN.EXT. These will need to be registered with your domain registrar as DNS Name Servers and setup in DNS pointing to our IP Addresses. However, do NOT proceed with this action if these DNS Name Servers already exist and are currently in live use.
4. Do you have an eNom account or sub-account? If not, let us know so that we can create a sub-account for you with regular TLD registration / renewal / transfer pricing of $12.00/yr. Your eNom account needs to be registered as a plug-in in PBAS at: Top > Service Director > Domain Manager > Plug-ins.
